Robert Pattinson stepped out in London earlier today sporting a new accessory: the power beard.

The bearded wonder is expected to make an appearance at George Clooney’s Hope For Haiti telethon at 8pm EST tonight. He’s been in hiding ever since being spotted sharing a date with co-star Kristen Stewart in the Isle Of Wight.

He’s set to appear tonight alongside a slew of celebrities, in effort to aid those suffering from the tragic events in Haiti.

Reportedly, Jay-Z and Rihanna will take the stage together to perform a new song, just for the cause.

Joaquin cleaned up nice for his involvement in helping “To Write Love On Her Arms” win 1 million dollars for suicide prevention.

So was his crazy unabomber inspired beard and half-cocked antics just for laughs? Or is he still a psycho, rapping lunatic? We may never know.

He is adding his name to the roster of celebrities helping to succeed in preventing suicide. And look, he’s doing it with ex-girlfriend Liv Tyler. Do you think they’re getting back together? She is recently divorced and he’s insanely hot again.

Richard Lugner, a 77-year-old Austrian entrepreneur has chosen Lindsay Lohan as his date to the famed Vienna Opera Ball next month. And yes, he’s paying her.

Lugner keeps the press in suspense for weeks before unveiling his choice for a date for the event, and thus, has decided upon Lindsay. And why not? She’s constantly in the media for completely nothing at all, so it looks like she could use a purpose.

Previous paid dates include Dita Von Teese, Paris Hilton and Nicollette Sheridan. The Opera Ball takes place on February 11th.

Think they’re going to do it? You know, she has switched teams.

Someone needs to hire a better PR team already. Jeez, Chris Brown is making mistake after mistake with his public image.

After beating up Rihanna last year, the singer is prompting captions like, “Chris Brown Strikes Again?” and “Chris Brown Kicks It With A Bloodied Jean Paul Gautier” and of course, our own here.

He’s not the most violent offender known to the celebrity world, yet he’s become the poster guy for domestic violence and abusive behaviors. Why, you may wonder? It’s mostly because he has seemingly shown no remorse for his actions.

Sure, he’s said that he’s sorry, but when he did that video, it looked as if he was reading from a teleprompter.

In addition to that, he’s still going on with his life like nothing ever happened. He hit a bump in the road with having to do community service, but has he shown any remorse whatsoever? I think not. And that’s not to say that he shouldn’t go on living his life, but he’s just being a douche about it. I know some of you may disagree and that’s your right to, but that’s just my opinion.

He may have wanted to opt out of this photo, just for self preservation, but alas, he didn’t and now we have something to write about.

Kim Kardashian is rocking the shoulder padded mini dress while celebrating her birthday. Lindsay Lohan wore the hodded number to InStyle’s Golden Globe party. Lohan has been battling tabloid rumors once again ranging from being a paid escort to marks on her wrist that suggest cutting. Guess it was a good plan to go for a long sleeved number.

I hope you all are enjoying the last season of Simon Cowell’s snarky British bum on “American Idol.” Season 9 has been a carbon copy of every other season with crying contestants wailing about their talents as security escorts them out. The true talent jumps up and down with a gold piece of paper and hugs Ryan Seacrest who then asks the crew if his hair looks ok. An adorable older gentleman created a song about men’s trousers hanging ridiculously from their legs. That song has gone viral and even Brett Favre loves “Pants on the Ground.”

Perhaps it’s the sting of Paula Abdul’s noticeable absence that makes this season so droll. I miss the little Vicodin Pinata slurring a statement to comfort the untalented. I miss the occasional dry humping between Simon and Paula. Most of all I miss someone to balance the annoyance of Kara DioSTFU.

We’ve just got our grubby little hands on this newly released photo of Tori Spelling with her children, Liam and Stella.

They may not be of age yet to be grossed out by these pics, but we are. You can see Tori cheesin’ for the cameras, while her kids brush their teeth. If you look closely, you’ll notice that one of the photos shows some boobage and a pregnant belly, while the other appears to be a full moon.

Tori is a classy mom. Sure, she has gazillions of dollars from pimping herself out on reality television, but not one ounce of class.

As the world continues to turn in actor Mel Gibson’s life, across the world it has been at a complete stand still for 30 years.

Carmel Sloane, who believes she is the eldest daughter of Mel Gibson, has been desperately trying to reach out and get Mel to give up some DNA for testing.

With her dream of knowing her real father in hand, she’s now making her way to a court room to file a paternity action against the actor.

Since Carmel was just a child, her mother told her about the story of how she met her father. How she was hitchhiking one day, how a young, handsome man stopped and gave her more than just a ride in his beat up wagon.

The two shared a passionate romp in the back seat, while parked on the side of the road. When Carmel’s mom reached her destination, she asked the soon to be famous Mel Gibson how she could get in touch with him again.

Mel responded with, “I’ll be a big movie star one day.”

Nine months later, Carmel was born in Australia. She spent her youth longing for a father, now she simply wants closure.

Mel Gibson, once thought of as the holy devout Catholic family man, has had many years of infidelity. That clearly shows his promiscuous ways. Along with his anti-semitic rants, it doesn’t surprise me that he considered ‘giving her a ride’ to mean much more than just a drive.

Ironically, Mel Gibson is set to release his new film, Edge of Darkness on January 29th.

In the film Gibson plays a homicide detective Thomas Craven, who while he investigates the death of his activist daughter, he uncovers not only her secret life, but a corporate cover-up and government collusion that attracts an agent (Winstone) tasked with cleaning up the evidence.

As we’ve already reported, according to Soundscan, Heidi Montag’s new album, Superficial, debuted with only 658 copies sold last week.

Allie sat down with Heidi’s Superficial CD to get the scoop.

The Sundance Film Festival gets underway today and featured there is Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning’s biopic, “The Runaways”.

That movie is said to be one of the biggest attractions at the festival this year. Beginning on Sunday, January 24th, “The Runaways” will be screening at the Eccles Theater.

Also playing, but on the 23rd, is Kristen’s hooker movie, “Welcome To The Riley’s”. Check out a new clip for the film, showing James Gandolfini’s character upset at Kristen for cussing like a sailor:

She said that she basically went broke making this album, after investing all of her money in it. According to Neilsen Soundscan, the poptard only sold 658 copies of her smash debut. Lovely.

Well, it’s good to know that there are 658 idiots on the planet. We should have those fools bar-coded so that we can identify them.

According to Us Weekly:

This is likely upsetting news for the reality star, who told Entertainment Weekly last week that she went broke making Superficial but thought that “within the first week, we will definitely make our money back.”

Yes, please hold your breathe waiting for that to happen.
