These doodles have a very important aim: the funds they raise will benefit NF, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing support to individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF).

Neurofibromatosis is a genetic disorder that affects one in every 2,500 births. NF is more common than Cystic Fibrosis, Muscular Dystrophy and Huntington’s Disease combined. Funds raised from the Doodle Day auction will go to support education, advocacy, coalitions, and research for treatments and a cure.

The X-Files: I Want to Believe is the second movie based on the series, after the original 1998 film adaptation, The X-Files: Fight the Future.

Filming took place in Vancouver and ended on March 11, 2008. The movie was directed by Carter and co-written by Carter and Frank Spotnitz. It is due to be released in the United States on July 25, 2008.

Sarah Jessica Parker recently sat down with Premiere to discuss the long anticipated “Sex and the City Movie” and being a fashion icon [see picture above].

Does finally making the movie feel like a final destination in a long journey?

It’s very hard to imagine a final destination point for these characters. In some ways the idea of not working with these people again is kind of just too awful to ponder. But this was a remarkable process to get this movie back up and running: it took about a year and a half for me and Michael Patrick [King, the exec producer/director/writer on the TV series and producer/director/writer on the movie]. Just to have had that experience was grand. So honestly, if this is the final destination, what a privilege! And to think beyond this now is a little bit like putting the cart before the horse. It’s extraordinary that we got to do this movie.

How does the term fashion icon sit with you? How do you live with that on a day-to-day basis?

I don’t. It’s really not something I spend a lot of time [contemplating]. I think that’s in large part due to the show and [costume designer Patricia Field]. I begged her to do the show. I begged her to do the movie. She was booked on nine other jobs. It’s really not something that I would feel comfortable commenting on because I think it seems kind of odd. I think it was really born of the character in a lot of ways, and I learned a lot from Pat and I’m still learning from Pat. And so it’s really not the essence of who I am. I don’t think about it. As a working mother, the last thing on my mind when I’m trying to get my kid out of the door in the morning to get him to school on time is how I look.

American Idol - And the Winner Is…

We all know it is going to come down to a battle of the David’s — Syesha Mercado doesn’t stand a chance. She has been a part of the bottom three finalists 5 of the 12 weeks that have transpired. I’d say she has accepted third place and is happy to have come this far.

David Cook and David Archuleta will be the last two standing. At this point Cook is rumored to be singing some Collective Soul and Roberta Flack next round. Good choices for the rocker with soul. He deserves the title and deal. He has 8 years of life experience in his pocket; I think he could better handle the pressure, the roles, the stress and celebrity status. The question is…can he take down the sweeter than honey David Archuleta?

Archuleta has a plethora of fan sites dedicated to making him the new American Idol. The fan base is extraordinary. Despite his father‘s, Jeff Archuleta, constant interference and recent ban from the Idol rehearsals, I think he might have the prize in the bag. He is said to be singing some Billy Joel during the final three performance.

However, he is a mere boy of 17. It makes me worry — between the stage dad and so much fame, at such a young age, that he could end up being the next singer to pose topless in Vanity Fair. Ok, I am kidding about the Vanity Fair part — but it is a lot of pressure for someone so young.

Bottom line: I am voting for David Cook, but I predict David Archuleta will win.

Tori Spelling is going to star in the new Beverly Hills 90210. There it is in one sentence the start and death of a show. Come on Tori couldn’t act as Screech’s girl friend in Saved By The Bell and the ten years of over acting on the first 90210 was torture.

“I know there have been lots of rumors to this effect in celebrity mags and infotainment shows. But one of my reliable TV business sources is hearing that Tori Spelling is going to be in the Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off just picked up by the CW.”

Like there isn’t enough Tori on TV as is. Gag. Come on do we really need to be there every time she breaks a nail? That reality show of hers Tori and Dean, is the stupidiest thing on the telly and that is saying something. Is there no one out there in TV land that can come up with an original idea. Must we rehash everything? With Jennie Garth signing on, we have two of the original cast why not get them all? Then it can be “90210 The Golden Years” or maybe “90210 The Assisted Living Years.”

Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson engaged or not? Depends on who you talk to. A UK tabloid claims that a friend of Kate’s confirmed that the pair were engaged. Kate was sporting a huge ring out and about in Boston last week. Listen all you out there that want to keep your engagement quiet DO NOT wear your gigantic ring in public.

But calm down everyone that rock Hudson was flashing is just a prop from her new flick the Bride Wars. Gee do you think this was just a publicity stunt? Trying to get a little air time for her new movie? Add to that her rep quickly denied the betrothal and I think we can put this safely in the stunt category.

The Hudson/Wilson romance is on again following a deluge of publicity that claimed that Wilson had lost it after their break-up and made a suicide attempt. But Kate will probably follow in famous mom’s Goldie Hawn’s footsteps and never marry again, why should she?

Hudson and Wilson re-kindled their romance in March of this year, following a storm of publicity that claimed Wilson had taken their break-up badly and tried to kill himself as a result. The Dax Shepard, Kate Hudson relationship was more than he could bear. After seeing them together he broke apart. But Hudson really seemed to be there for Wilson afterwards and that led to the last March make-up.

Truth be told, the above video is from a television show and not a film. BUT, since David Cross (one of my favorite comedians) is in, like, every other movie these days, I felt we could let this one slide by. Plus, this is one of my most favorite Cross moments ever — and anytime I have the chance to post a video from Mr. Show, I will take it without asking any questions.

For those not familiar, Mr. Show with Bob and David was a sketch-comedy program on HBO long ago, starring David Cross and Bob Odenkirk. The above video, titled The Audition, happens to be one of my personal favorite segments from the show — so much so that my friend and I bring it up all the time. Surfing around earlier, I stumbled upon the video over at Funny or Die and, well, it was fate.

Anyhoo, enough about me. Bit Bit might be pregnant again! Well, it’s either that or she’s got some serious cheeto / frapp / Red Bull bloat.

I really hope she’s pregnant because the new Britney - who stays indoors alot and lives a normal life - is boring me.

Rumors have buzzed that the Dancing With The Stars alum would return, and yesterday the speculations were confirmed. Garth’s character, the beautiful blonde Kelly will act as a guidance counselor at West Beverly Hills High but will not be a featured character. Garth has signed on for a “reoccurring role”, but we suspect she’ll be around more often than not!

This is so great I can hardly contain myself! I know, I know, consensus is that the spin-off is probably doomed, but oh em gee… I’m like a teenager on heat.

I have to pat him on the back for being mature through-out this whole thing. I know, I know, somebody lost their life in the accident and there is no getting off when your actions result in the death of another person, but I feel like it’s important to point out that Hogan lost his friend and has secretly dealt with that loss and the guilt of playing a part in the tragedy. I’m not sure how much of a victim the passenger was, versus willing participant in drafting. While I feel like legal justice has been served, has moral justice been served too? Did Hogan really deserve the backlash he got, or was it overserved?

Yup, the premiere only made 6.6 million dollars, a massive flop for Hollywood box office movies. Warner Bros. had reportedly expected the film to earn in the 40 million mark, but is now faced with earnings in a lower 20 million.
