Allie-Publisher/Editor
Allie founded Allie is Wired in May of 2006 and was hired as Gone Hollywood’s head writer that August. In June of 2007, Allie Is Wired proudly merged with Outside the Beltway Media. Her partner James Joyner, although silent on this site, keeps very busy with the widely read political blog Outside the Beltway.

Allie is a native born Californian, with 15 years experience in broadcast television and radio. She became a full time entertainment writer [blogger] in February of 2007,… and is loving every minute of it!

Roberta Ferguson – Music Editor

Roberta is a lover of all things music (except for Country, that doesn’t count, right?). She still believes the 80’s doesn’t get the respect that it deserves.

After leaving her “illustrious” day job as a bill collector, Roberta plans to take over the world, one celebrity at a time.

Favorite Music: Def Leppard, all things 80’s, Britney Spears, Lily Allen, and Amy Winehouse. Eff Katy Perry, she’s just a Lily Allen clone for the U.S. record companies to spoonfeed us. I’m not hungry!

Roberta also blogs at Earsucker, where she really lays the smackdown on Miley Cyrus.

Cara - Contributor

Cara Harrington is a connoisseur of fashion and gossip.

She may come from the mid-west, but makes being a blogger glamorous.

Passions include a good appletini, a good book, and Jake Gyllenhaal shirtless.

Her biting wit and dedication to snark is a high demand around here.

Cara joined the Allie Is Wired team in October of 2007 as a daily writer.

Since joining Allie is Wired, Cara has started her own site, Hollywood Dame. She’s there to bring you all the latest on what’s happening in the celebrity gossip world along with a bit of fashion and style. It’s like happy hour, but 24/7.

Stiletto Jungle - Contributor

Stiletto Jungle is the publisher-editor of the website ‘Adventures in Stiletto Jungle‘. She’s a young attorney who understands the demands of juggling a professional career while maintaining “it girl” status and knows that just because you have a good job, it doesn’t mean you can afford to pay full price for designer jeans!

She joined the Allie Is Wired team in May of 2007.

Stiletto Jungle contributes our weekly feature ‘Steal the Celebrity Style‘, published every Friday… which has been very well received by our readers.

Chinny Bini - Wired Movie Reviews

Chinny Bini’s interest in film began at an early age of seven months by watching made for cats videos. She hit the stage first at ballet school, later a member of her high school drama club and while earning a BA in Performing Arts, with two years of film study, also training privately with a Russian coach and at NY’s Lee Strasberg Institute. Chinny Bini’s love for the stage and cinema bloomed into a desperate need to write. No longer playing with stuffed mice or chasing some crazy beam of light, Chinny Bini spends a great deal of time at the movies and online, writing screenplays.

Yes, here and there, a squirrel or a birdie prances outside the window and sparks the urge to pounce, yet, it is only a dormant streak of wild at this time. When not hard at work on the next great screenplay, Chinny Bini can be found frolicking in his Connecticut back yard or roughhousing with his furry and not so furry family members. Chinny Bini’s favorite food is shrimp!

What does this frisky feline hold as her top ten on the silver screen?
Let’s see: Metropolis, La Grande Illusion, Cinema Paradiso, Leon, Red-White-Blue, Blade Runner, Legends of the Fall, Beautiful Girls, Seven, Reservoir Dogs - of course and yes, Chinny has seen ET and Star Warz a million times, so let’s just extend that list to 13 if we throw in Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon ( considering Chinny’s human mom is a kung fu chick, thank you very much).

Spielberg is probably Chinny Bini’s fave Hollywood magician, if all the amazing greats like Mastroianni, Kubrick and Hitchcock, who are now dead, aren’t considered alongside the amazing living souls like Scorcese, Coppola (not surprisingly, also his talented little girl Sophia), Lucas and since Chinny’s mom is Czech, let’s throw in Forman too! Tarrantino would have made that list, but we’ll wait a little, until his scene work is a bit more in order and a whole lot less confusing to follow. Dude, you sure love that edit station!

Fave actors list: Jean Reno, Gary Oldman, Gabriel Byrne, Sam Shepard, Armin Mueller-Stahl, Clive Owen, Jude Law, Ian McKellen and Lawrence Olivier the great.

Fave female actor: hands down Natalie Portman. “If you can find a performer more en pointe, so fantasmifabulically stunning and talented in her craft, dead or alive (sorry Ms. Wood, Ms. Leigh and Ms. Taylor) then please, e-mail Chinny ASAP at chinnybini@gmail.com She’ll bet her cat nip!
