Britney Spears' Las Vegas Lip Sync Performance Is A Hit

Britney Spears has begun her early retirement in Las Vegas.

Spears’ “Britney: Piece of Me” show opened in Las Vegas on Friday night (Dec. 27) and it was full of celebrities and full of lip syncing. In fact, the singer appeared to be lip-syncing for the majority of her performance.

Britney said in an interview that she will be singing live and her manager Larry Rudolph said that she was working with a vocal coach.

Spears has maintained that she only plans to sing live during her residency. She told Chicago’s 103.5 KISS FM, “I’m definitely going to be singing live. I always sing live. It doesn’t sound so great all the time, but I do my best.”

Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez were among the celebrities in attendance, along with DJ Pauly D, Adam Lambert, and “Extra” host Mario Lopez.

Miley Cyrus got a front row seat and flipped out.

Spears was extremely grateful for the support, thanking the stars on Twitter.

Spears opened the show with “Work Bitch,” descending from the sky in a globe-like cage. Dressed in a skin-tight, sequined bodysuit — reminiscent of the barely-there outfit she wore in the “Toxic” music video — she strutted around on stage, and also did some of the choreography from the “Work” video.

The pop superstar performed 24 of her biggest hits, like “Oops… I Did It Again,” “Everytime,” “Lucky,” “Crazy,” “Womanizer,” “… Baby One More Time” and “Til the World Ends.”

Britney only performed two tracks from her new album, “Work B**ch” and “Perfume.”

The Grammy-winning singer will perform 50 shows each in 2014 and 2015. Casino executives say the gig may be extended if it proves a success.

I am not surprised – sadly her conservators have her so medicate she is just a robot a shadow of herself.
