Kim and Kanye's Name Choice 'North West' Explained

It was recently revealed that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West named their baby daughter, North West.

According to sources, it’s not directional.

“They chose the name North because they see it as a metaphor for “up”, telling friends, “What’s North of North? Nothing.” Translation … nothing better.”

Which sort of makes sense given the fact that Kanye thinks he’s God.

“I Am a God,” Kanye declares on a track off his sixth studio album ‘Yeezus‘.

The couple believes that baby North is their highest point together as a couple and they consider her their “North Star.”

Kim and Kanye welcomed their little girl, nicknamed “Nori” about five weeks early and according to a source, the reality star and rapper’s baby weighed in at 4 pounds, 15 ounces at birth.

It’s still a horrible name. I still can’t believe they’re that dumb.
