The Rocky Horror Picture Show star Tim Curry is recovering after suffering a major stroke.
The British star, 67, is said to be “doing great” following the collapse.
“Tim is doing great,” said his longtime Los Angeles agent Marcia Hurwitz. “He absolutely can speak and is recovering at this time and in great humor.”
Curry has been beset by some health problems over the last few years. He was forced to pull out of a much-hyped play back in 2011, reportedly because he was struggling to get his asthma attacks under control. Obviously, this stroke situation is quite a bit more serious, but if he’s already talking and making jokes, there’s no reason to think he won’t make a full recovery.
Curry played Dr. Frank-N-Furter in the cult Rocky Horror musical alongside Susan Sarandon and Meatloaf in 1975.
