From American Idols to Real Housewives to New York Giants, celebs from the worlds of music, television, film and sports came together Thursday night in New York City’s magnificent Hammerstein Ballroom, to celebrate the We Are Family Foundation, at a star-studded Gala honoring Adam Lambert, who received the organization’s Unity award for his humanitarian work, along with other distinguished honorees.

The We Are Family Foundation is a not-for-profit that creates and supports programs that inspire and educate the next generation about respect, understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity.

Since it’s inception in 2002, the organization has reached millions, through their work with fostering teen leaders, building schools, and their award-winning PSA and early childhood educational DVD program, “We Are Family: A Musical Message to All.”
