Police Chief Who Signed Off Chris Brown’s Community Service Resigns

Things aren’t looking good for Chris Brown.

Bryan Norwood, the police chief in Richmond, Virginia, that certified Brown’s community service hours has resigned.

“We’ve reached a mutual agreement that his time as Richmond police chief has come to an end,” Mayor Dwight C. Jones said.

Norwood, chief since 2008, and his department have been under fire by L.A. prosecutors for their oversight of Brown’s community service stemming from the 2009 beating of his then-and-current girlfriend Rihanna.

If Chris Brown isn’t wrecking his douchemobile or smoking a blunt with Rihanna, he’s faking community service.

Maybe some jail time will be in his future?
