Fall Out Boy Releases Brand New Single! (Listen Here)

After a three year hiatus, Fall Out Boy has reunited and just released their first new single!

The track is titled “My Songs Know What You Did In the Dark (Light Em Up)” and the band has released a video for the song featuring rapper 2Chainz… interesting choice.

The band which consists of Pete Wentz, Patrick Stump, Andy Hurley, and Joe Trohman went on a break back in 2010.

Luckily for all you fans out there the band is back and not only are they releasing new music this year, they’re also going on tour!

“When we were kids the only thing that got us through most days was music,” the band posted on their website. “It’s why we started fall out boy in the first place. this isn’t a reunion because we never broke up. we needed to plug back in and make some music that matters to us… the future of fall out boy starts now. save rock and roll…”

The song is a definite hit and was totally worth the wait! But my question is why feature 2Chainz in the video if he’s not even on the song? (Maybe I just missed it?)

Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad he isn’t on the track. 2Chainz would have completely ruined it, but why even include him?

The band’s new album “Save Rock And Roll” will be released worldwide on May 6 and 7!
