Wired Exclusive: Betty White Named ‘Who-Manitarian of The Year’ (Photos & Videos)

Happy Whobilation everyone! Today Betty White was honored at the “Who-Manitarian of The Year” Celebration at Universal Studios Hollywood!

The annual event also serves as the kick-off to the theme park’s holiday celebration, Grinchmas!

Ms. White was named the Who-Manitarian of The Year for her lifelong support of and dedication to animal welfare.

The 90-year-old actress was also featured in Dr. Suess’ “The Lorax” which makes her the perfect candidate for the Who-Manitarian award!

Betty was presented her award by the Mayor of Who-ville, The Grinch and of course his loyal dog/reindeer Max.

It was truly a spectacular moment! Betty spoke to the crowd and thanked the citizens of Who-ville for her award!

The whole event was lots of fun and there was even real snow! That’s a first for this LA reporter.

Over 100 Los Angeles elementary school students from the Inner City Educational Foundation charter school were invited to play in the snow and meet the Grinch himself!

By the end of the celebration, kids were running around throwing snow balls (at me), building snowmen and just having a great time.

Check out all of the fun and exciting moments from the ceremony below…
