Here’s your first look at Ashton Kutcher as Steve Jobs in an upcoming biopic of the late Apple founder, courtesy of the Sundance Film Festival.
The image shows the Two and a Half Men star in a cubicle wearing a button-down shirt, jeans, and a goatee.
Sundance describes the film as the “true story of one of the greatest entrepreneurs in American history,” which “chronicles the defining 30 years of Steve Jobs’ Life.”

While the photo alone may not convince the skeptical that Ashton was the right man for the job, the director of programming at Sundance, Trevor Groth, assures that the actor owns the role.
“We’re really excited to have it as the closing night. It’s really an inspirational and entertaining film about a man who has had such a significant impact on the world,” Groth told USA Today. “My hunch is he got the job because he bears a striking resemblance to Jobs physically. But [Kutcher] really owns the performance.”
“jOBS” is the closing-night film at Sundance, which runs Jan. 17-27th in Park City, Utah.
