‘Paranormal Activity 5′ Announced For 2013 Release
It just keeps going and going and going… and going.
That’s right, Paramount has confirmed that there will be a Paranormal Activity 5.
Despite the current incarnation Paranormal Activity 4 having the lowest opening weekend of the franchise, the studio has decided to move forward with another sequel.
So it looks like we can look forward to more doors closing and sheets falling off beds. [eye roll]
It is still unknown whether directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman will return for the next film.
Paranormal Activity 4 has seen a 43% opening weekend drop from the previous film, but apparently it’s still making the studio money.
The current film only cost $5 million to produce so there is still a large profit to be made.
Studios would put out a film about a cow grazing if it made them a profit, so I am sure we will be seeing a few more of these films in the future.
Do you want to see another Paranormal Activity movie again? Is it even scary anymore?
