A dolla makes her holla Honey Boo Boo Child!
Alana Thompson (Honey Boo Boo) and her family are coming back for a second season of their hit TLC show, and this time with a whole lot more money.
The family of six was reportedly making between $5,000 and $7,000 an episode when they began “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo” during the 2012 summer.
Once it was apparent that the show was a hit for TLC, producers knew they needed to shell out more cash for the wacky, yet lovable clan.
According to sources, the family is now making somewhere between $15,000 and $20,000 an episode!
Not exactly Kardashian Kash ($40 million a season), but whatever it’s TLC.
Also, the network has even offered to help the family get into a larger and more secure home, but June Shannon the mother graciously refused. June and the family are very involved in the community and like to do a whole Christmas charity event at the home every year.
Also sources say agents have been swarming around the family, trying to sign them for representation, but June has turned them all away.
She doesn’t want making money to become a huge issue for the family or show and she does not want to make appearances that would keep the family apart.
She’s no Kris Jenner… she’s a good human being and mother.
You better redneck-ognize!
