Nickelodeon Apologizes For Jason Biggs’ Vulgar RNC Tweets

Jason Biggs has a dirty mouth and it has placed him in some hot water… turtle soup anyone?

The actor, who is voicing Leonardo in Nickelodeon’s upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series, came under fire from parenting groups and conservative bloggers for controversial tweets he made during the Republican National Convention last week.

Some of the actors comments included sexual remarks about Ann Romney and Vice Presidential nominee Paul Ryan’s wife, Janna.

Of course, the actor has since deleted the tweet. Jason, nothing disappears… nothing.

Nickelodeon has since apologized for the vulgar actor saying:

“Nickelodeon does not support or condone the use of graphic or vulgar language on any of our platforms,” the network said in a statement.

“It was our mistake to link from our Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles twitter feed to Jason’s personal twitter account, and we quickly corrected our error. We also insisted Jason use better judgment and discretion in public communications while affiliated with our brand.”

I wonder if the network has ever seen American Pie?
