MySpace Becomes Tumblr (Video)

Justin Timberlake has revealed the ‘NEW‘ and improved MySpace … and it’s basically just another Tumblr.

The social media website, which has slowly dwindled in popularity over the years, has completely revamped itself.

According to Chris and Tim Vanderhook, who bought the company in July 2011, MySpace‘s new design now focuses on emerging artists who hope to be discovered. (Hello! YouTube)

A message posted on the landing page says:

“We’re hard at work building the new Myspace, entirely from scratch. But we’re staying true to our roots in one important way — empowering people to express themselves however they want. So whether you’re a musician, photographer, filmmaker, designer or just a dedicated fan, we’d love for you to be a part of our brand new community.”

While its redesign is apparently quite beautiful and it’s got Justin Timberlake as a mascot, you won’t be seeing me there. It’s just not the same without Tom.
