Lindsay Lohan was assaulted this morning in her NYC hotel room by a guy she had just met!

Police have arrested the man who allegedly went crazy and attacked the star. Apparently, Lindsay had met Christian LaBella at a nightclub in Chelsea and brought him back to her hotel with some friends.

Later while in the hotel room, Lindsay noticed that he was taking a candid picture of her and she called him out on it.

According to sources, after Lindsay confronted LaBella he freaked out and pushed her onto the bed! Lindsay ran out of the room, but then returned for some reason.

Once she was back, Labella attacked her, choked her, threw her onto the floor and jumped on top of her!

Luckily one of Lindsay’s friends was able to pull him off her. Lindsay then pulled the fire alarm and cops arrived just in time to arrest the attacker.

A rep for Lohan released a statement saying, “Lindsay was assaulted early this morning in a New York hotel. While she did sustain some injuries, she was not hospitalized. The assailant was arrested and is currently in police custody. Lindsay has spoken with police and is fully cooperating with the investigation.”

LaBella has been arrested on two misdemeanor counts of assault and two charges of harassment.
