Lady Gaga recently shaved the back of her head for BFF and go-to photographer, Terry Richardson, who announced on Tuesday his mother had died.

Embracing her new bald spot, Gaga added some fresh ink.

Posting the image of what appears to be a cherub inked on her scalp Gaga said, “You’re a made woman of the art mafia.”

How strange.

While most of her fans seemed to love the new ink, it did leave some of them questioning the quality.

“You have the money to get a better looking tattoo. Its off center, crooked, asymmetrical, and frankly I’d be pissed,” said one fan.

Richardson and Gaga have collaborated for years and in late 2011 released a photo book documenting ten months in the life of the famed singer.
