Wired Exclusive: Cash Cash To Release New Album ‘The Beat Goes On’ (Video)

Music group, Cash Cash is making waves in the EDM world, topping charts and is set to release their third album The Beat Goes On!

The pop/EDM group is comprised of Jean Paul Makhlouf, Alex Makhlouf and Sam Frisch and the three of them achieved global success with their albums “Take It to the Floor” and “Love or Lust.”

The New Jersey-born group has not only toured with Cobra Starship, but has sold out headlining tours domestically and in Japan and Brazil.

Their current lead single “Michael Jackson” is obviously in honor of the King of Pop and is definitely a song that will get you on your feet.

The song is made up of verses that come from some of Jackson’s biggest hits that are all woven together to create cohesive and catchy narrative.

“The beats are better and the hooks are more defined. It’s a mix of our Cash Cash electro dance vibe blended with some dubstep shock, bundled with a pop anthem chorus,” says frontman Jean Paul Makhlouf when asked about the band’s new single and sound.

The Beat Goes On will be released by European label Spinnin’ Records, who is also home to EDM heavey hitters Afrojack, Avicii and Martin Solveig.

“Michael Jackson” has already reached the top 10 in the Netherlands and is spreading all over the world.

“A lot of dubstep groups haven’t found a way to make coherent pop songs, and I think we cracked the code with ‘Michael Jackson,’” says Jean Paul. “We’re taking the music in a wild direction.”
