Will.i.am Premiering New Song From the Surface of Mars (Photos)

Will.i.am will be premiering his latest song by broadcasting it from the surface of Mars!

The 37-year-old rapper will be debuting his new single “Reach for the Stars” through the speakers of the rover Curiosity, which currently sits on the surface of Mars.

The rapper was present at Cape Canaveral, Florida, alongside NASA employees when the rover made its initial landing, and tweeted: “We did it!!! We landed on mars… we did humans… humans landed curiosity on mars.”

NASA said that “Reach of the Stars” deals with will.i.am’s “passion for science, technology, and space exploration.” I wonder how much Will.i.am paid to make this happen?

You can see curiosity practicing its dance moves HERE!

You can listen to the song make its debut (HERE) on August 28th at 4PM EDT.
