Is Nicki Minaj really joining the judging table on “American Idol” for the next season?

Well according to sources, the “Super Bass” singer is almost 100% confirmed to become the next judge!

Minaj will be joining the only other confirmed judge Mariah Carey.

“I’m not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it,” a source reveals. “A few more slight things to be signed off on, but it’s happening.”

The 29-year-old rapper’s sophomore album, PinkFriday: Roman Reloaded, debuted at number 1 back in April and has produced two Top 10 singles, “Starships” and “Pound the Alarm.”

Another source says Minaj is “100% confirmed to judge American Idol.”

It has been confirmed that Nick Jonas is being considered for the third seat at the judging table, but he has yet to be officially signed on.
