Michael J. Fox Returns To Primetime Television (Photo)

Michael J. Fox is returning to primetime television and the world… she rejoices.

According to Vulture, the iconic star of Family Ties and the Back to the Future trilogy has teamed with director Will Gluck (Easy A) and writer Sam Laybourne (Cougar Town, Arrested Development) on a single-camera comedy project that’s being developed by Sony Pictures Television for a 2013 launch.

Fox has recently made guest appearances on CBS’ The Good Wife, HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm and FX’s Rescue Me. His other TV credits include Boston Legal and Sin City. He has enjoyed great success at the Emmys over the years — five wins from 13 nominations.

You know the networks are fighting over him.
