Madonna wants to end her long-time feud with Elton John and has forgiven Elton for calling her a “fairground stripper.”

During a concert in France, Madonna extended the proverbial olive branch.

Madonna performed her song “Masterpiece” at the show and dedicated it to Elton saying:

“I’d like to dedicate this next song to a Mr. Elton John. I know he’s a big fan of it and I know he’s a big fan of mine. And you know what? I forgive him. You’ve gotta start somewhere.”

The song choice, was actually an insult.

If you recall, that’s the song that won Madonna a Golden Globe earlier this year, beating out a song of Elton’s in the process. Elton John thought his song should win.

The look on Madonna’s face says it all, really.
