Lady Gaga might not have the best timing… or she might have amazing timing, depends on how you look at it.

The “Born This Way” singer made a not so appropriate joke at her gal pal Lindsay Lohan‘s expense!

Recently Lindsay has found herself in hot water after being accused of stealing sunglasses and jewelry from a mansion she had attended a party at.

Luckily for Ms. Lohan, the D.A. has decided not to press charges against her for the alleged theft.

Lindsay later tweeted the above picture of herself while wearing a pair of pricey-looking earrings.

Then Gaga tweeted Lindsay saying:

It’s pretty awkward when you also take into account Lindsay’s thieving past.

Gaga and Lindsay had spent the night together at the Chateau Marmont earlier this summer.

Unfortunately for Lindsay she was banned from the high-end hotel for stiffing a bill of over $45,000!
