Lady Gaga Releases ‘Fame’ Perfume Commercial Trailer (Watch Here!)

Only Lady Gaga could release a TRAILER for a commercial for a perfume campaign and cause this much of a ruckus.

The pop star is set to release her first fragrance line, “Fame: The First Ever Black Eau de Parfum“, but today she released the official trailer to her upcoming commercial… and it’s definitely Gaga!

The 34 second long clip plays like the trailer to a high budget Hollywood sci-fi film and is clearly something you’ll need to watch more than once.

In scenes we see Gaga in multiple black latex outfits, slinking around in black liquid and caressing men wearing S&M style attire.

The commercial was directed by Steven Klein, whom Gaga worked with on her “Alejandro” music video, and produced by Ridley Scott of the “Alien” franchise.

“We thought, ‘Let’s just make the most epic fragrance campaign of all time and let’s not care at all about whether they can even print it or show it on TV. Let’s just do everything we ever dreamed of,’” explained Gaga in an interview.

“We basically did this purely for the pleasure of working together. We were just sort of sitting in the corner going, ‘I can’t believe they are letting us do this!’”

The full commercial will be released August 22.

Gaga’s song “Scheiße” off her album Born This Way will serve as the music in the commercial.

What did you think of the trailer? Will you be buying “Fame” perfume?
