Kim Kardashian wants a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and she’s made it her goal to get one.

“I think there was a quote where somebody said that reality stars will never get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” Kim recently told V Magazine.

“So, of course I’m so competitive that I think that it would be a huge achievement and a goal that anyone would want. I would love to break that mold.”

Walk of Fame’s VP of media relations told EW last year, “Reality stars are not on our radar for Walk of Fame honors, but what our Walk of Fame-rs do after they are honored with stars is totally up to them.”

No means No, Kim.

The 31-year-old star of “Keeping up with the Kardashians” says she doesn’t take offense when people say she is famous for being famous, and she compares reality tv to rap music.

“It reminds me of rap music. When rap music first came out, people were like, ‘We don’t understand this, what is this, it’s just a fad. But rap music is definitely here to stay, and I think reality shows have proven they are as well. But when something is newer, people don’t really understand it.”

It will more than likely take a long time for Hollywood to see her as a true celebrity, with true talent.
