Mayim Bialik has been involved in a car accident, leaving one of her fingers dangling.

“Mayim Bialik was in a minor car accident today,” a statement read. “[S]he is doing fine and will be returning to work tomorrow. She thanks everyone for their concern.”

A dangling finger hardly sounds minor.

TMZ reported that the accident occured after her car was struck by another vehicle, leaving Bialik with “serious injuries,” with sources saying there were “tons and tons of blood everywhere” and that “her finger was almost completely severed … it was just hanging there.”

Speaking of the accident, Mayim took to Twitter and said, “(husband typing) In pain but will keep all my fingers.”

They must have been able to stitch it up.
