Is One Direction’s Liam Payne actually engaged?

Nope! Don’t worry all of you devastated 1D fans this rumor is totally false!

Rumors of engagement started when an Instagram account claiming to the private account of the pop star started gaining followers.

The account, OfficialPayne1993, sparked the rumors when it posted a lengthy message proclaiming Liam’s love for girlfriend Danielle Peazer.

“You all were excited about the ‘big news’ right,” wrote the fake Liam. “Well, me and Danielle are moving in together and we are going to take the next step in our relationship. I try to keep my private life private from publicity but it’s hard sometimes.”

But a rep for the 18-year-old band member put rumors to rest when they released a statement saying, “This is a fake account and the rumors are completely false. They are not engaged or moving in together.”

So go ahead and take a deep breathe ladies, there still might be a chance for you.
