Nicki Minaj has just released the music video for her new single “Pound The Alarm” and it really is one big, colorful party!

The song comes off Nicki’s sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, and it’s also one of my favorites.

Nicki, who’s dressed in full Carnival attire, takes the festivities to her native country of Trinidad and Tobago for this new video.

There’s lots of dancing, partying and fireworks going on at this street party lead by Ms. Minaj herself.

The stunning visuals and colors pretty much make up for the fact that the video lacks really any story line at all.

The fun atmosphere seen in this video is similar to the larger than life, crazy song it was made for. It may be a bit generic, but this video is still one to see at least once.

My one problem with this video… that wig! Someone needs to snatch that wig off Nicki’s head and set it on fire!
