Mary J. Blige To Join ‘The Voice’

Is Mary J. Blige joining the hit singing competition show “The Voice” next season?

Yes! But not as a judge, instead she will be joining Adam Levine’s team as an advisor.

“I’ve always been a huge fan of Mary J. Blige,” says Levine, whose advisors last year included Alanis Morrisette and Robin Thicke. “So it’s been great having her on The Voice as an adviser to my team.”

Apparently the love is mutual for these two music moguls because the soulful singer added, “I love Adam, he’s amazing. I’m so happy to be working with him and his team.”

This will be the show’s third season and Mary isn’t the only advisor to be announced. Michael Buble has also been confirmed as the advisor for Blake Shelton’s team!

For now there is still no word on who will join Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green’s team/

The third season of “The Voice” premieres September 10th on NBC.
