Kanye West has finally made his first appearance on Keeping Up With The Kardashians as Kim Kardashian‘s boyfriend.

A clip from the series shows the moment that Kourtney Kardashian, Kim’s sister and mom to the just-announced Penelope, quizzes her sibling on why she’s driving a flashy car.

Kim reveals it belongs to West and then says, “So Kanye and I, you know, we have I think a lot of things in common. We both just love … cars.”

You mean, you’re both materialistic.

There’s also a private moment caught on tape–or as private as things get with the very public Kim and Kanye–where we see the two embrace at a public event. “I went for the kiss, you went for the hug,” Kanye cracks.
