Courtney Love Badgers Lana Del Rey About Her Vagina (Video)

Lana Del Rey made the decision to cover the song ‘Heart Shaped Box‘ by Nirvana for her first Sydney, Australia performance.

Today, she’s regretting it.

As expected, the late Kurt Cobain‘s wife, Courtney Love, has reacted.

Courtney’s vagina was the inspiration for the song, and she wanted to make sure Lana knew this, over and over again on Twitter.

Writing on Twitter, in posts which have now been deleted, the Hole frontwoman said:

“You do know the song is about my Vagina right? ‘Throw down your umbilical noose so i can climb right back,’ umm… On top of which some of the lyrics about my vagina I contributed. So umm next time you sing it, think about my vagina will you?”

Just like a can of worms.

Del Rey has previously discussed the impact the song had on her when she was growing up. Speaking to a radio station at the end of last year, she said:

“When I was 11, I saw Kurt Cobain singing ‘Heart-Shaped Box’ on MTV and it really stopped me dead in my tracks. I thought he was the most beautiful person I had ever seen. Even at a young age, I really related to his sadness.”

I wonder if she can relate to Courtney’s va-jay-jay nonsense?

In this context, shouldn’t that be “beavers;” not “badgers?”
