Magic Mike star Channing Tatum was convinced to make his booty clap.

By the looks of things, he’s had some practice!

Matthew McConaughey, Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Alex Pettyfer, Adam Rodríguez and Matt Bomer might be the actual stars of Magic Mike, but there’s a supporting cast member that hasn’t received as much recognition for the raunchy film: the thong!

“Sometimes a thong completely betrays you,” shared Tatum.

“But if everyone is dressed in a thong pretty much any conversation is going to be funny … It’s only weird if you make it weird.”

It’s widely known that it was Tatum who approached Steven Soderbergh with the idea for Magic Mike, as the film was inspired by Tatum’s own experiences as a male stripper when he was 18.
