Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend of three years, Liam Hemsworth are engaged!

Miley and her Hunger Games star became engaged on May 31st. “I’m so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam,” Miley said to People.

No additional details were given about Hemsworth’s proposal, other than the fact that he sealed the deal with a 3.5-carat diamond ring.

Rumors surfaced at the end of March that the two had gotten engaged, when a ring showed up on Miley’s left hand, but she Tweeted at the time: “I’m not engaged. I’ve worn this same ring on this finger since November! People just wanna find something to (talk) about! It’s a topaz people!”

The Cyrus family are reportedly happy for their daughter, even if Miley might seem a bit young.

“They are thrilled about it,” she said. “Liam has been a part of their family for a while now; he’s been around. He’s not just somebody who showed up out of the woodwork.”
