She’s doing the Lifetime film and now she’s set to do a straight-to-video thriller alongside a porn star… Lindsay Lohan is really working from the bottom up.

It has just been announced that Lohan will star in an upcoming low-budget film called “The Canyons.”

The film is being described as a psycho-sexual thriller that will follow a group of young Los Angelinos and “will have both crime and redemption elements.”

Screenwriter/author Bret Easton Ellis has teased that both the male and female lead roles will have a nudity requirement and has said that the male lead has to “be full frontal naked banging girls and guys realistically.”

Along with Lindsay, actor James Deen will be taking the male lead. No this is not the late 1950’s star, James Dean, but rather James DEEN… the porn star.

Deen will be playing Christian, a well-off and manipulating film producer. Lindsay will be playing his girlfriend and former model, Tara.

Ellis made the announcement on Twitter saying:

Filming will take place July 9-31 and is planned to have a “Netflix/Video-On-Demand” release.

Well, kudos to Lindsay for doing what she’s got to do to get that money.
