Lindsay Lohan just can’t stay out of trouble, and that’s the bottom line.

Apparently Lindsay lied to the cops on Friday, telling them she wasn’t driving the Porsche that slammed into an 18-wheeler on the Pacific Coast Highway.

Several eyewitnesses said that after the crash, Lindsay and her assistant both got out of the car on the passenger side, which means Lindsay had to climb over the console.

She could be prosecuted and her probation could be revoked.

This isn’t Lindsay’s only problem — the driver of the 18-wheeler has already hired an attorney, and is claiming injuries.

Lindsay… it’s time. Give me the keys.
