Lana Del Rey Releases ‘National Anthem’ Music Video (Watch Here)

Lana Del Rey has just unveiled the music video for her new single “National Anthem.”

In the video Del Rey plays the role of Jacqueline Kennedy, while rapper A$AP Rocky plays her husband former president John F. Kennedy.

The nearly 8 minute video is Del Rey’s take on the life and relationship of the famous presidential couple.

It starts out in black and white with Lana playing a Marilyn Monroe type character singing “Happy Birthday” to the president.

Then comes the Kennedy montage of family, love and good times.

At the end of the video we see Lana and A$AP riding in a motorcade, reenacting the JFK assassination of 1963.

The whole thing is visually stunning and looks like it was shot with an Instagram filter on.

National Anthem” comes from Del Rey’s critically acclaimed album, Born To Die.
