Lady Gaga Reveals New Song During Melbourne Concert (Listen Here)

Lady Gaga surprised her fans in Melbourne, Australia when she revealed a new song called “Princess Die.”

While performing a sold out show of her Born This Way Ball concert Gaga unveiled the song while she played on her motorcycle piano.

“This song is a little bit sad,” Gaga told the audience. “But it is in no way reflective of the rest of the music on the album.”

“It is about the most deep and personal thoughts I’ve ever had.”

The singer also admitted that the song “may or may not be on the next album.” Which by the way is rumored to be released sometime this fall.

The song, with dark lyrics like “But I took pills and left a note/ I wish that I could go in my rich boyfriend’s limo” and “So bob your head for another dead blonde/ Who’s real prince is in heaven,” feels reminiscent of the singer’s work on her previous album The Fame Monster.

The song alludes to the late Princess Diana, who Gaga has said in the past that she feels strongly connected to.

What did you think of Gaga’s new song? What are your hopes for the new album?
