Jamie Lynn Spears surprised fans with a private concert in Nashville.

The aspiring country star performed a song that she wrote about her sister Britney called, I Look Up To You.

“You can imagine who I wrote it about,” said Jamie Lynn.

“It all happened way too soon, They took away your innocence,” Jamie sings.

Although the video was just posted, Spears opens the performance by asking asking the crowd about their New Years Eve, which leads me to believe it’s an older performance.

Jamie Lynn pursued a career in acting on Nickelodeon’s series Zoey 101 in 2005, but she left the kid program in 2008 when she became pregnant by boyfriend Casey Aldridge.

Spears has enlisted the help of Pam Tillis to help launch her singing career.

She looks so much like Britney now, amazing.
