Lady Gaga Cancels Indonesian Concert Due To Extremist Threats

Lady Gaga made the announcement today that she has officially cancelled her Born This Way Ball concert in Jakarta, Indonesia!

Due to threats of violence and death against her and her fans from Islamic extremists, Gaga and her concert promoters have been forced to pull the plug on the massive show.

Although over 52,000 tickets had been sold they will all now be refunded to all the disappointed little monsters.

As we reported earlier, organizations such as the Islamic Defenders Front have been rallying against the performance.

“We will stop her from setting foot on our land. She had better not dare spread her satanic faith in this country,” says FPI chairman Salim Alatas. “Her style is vulgar, her sexual and indecent clothes will destroy our children’s sense of morality. She’s very dangerous.”

Gaga took to her Twitter to announce the cancellation saying:

Gaga later tweeted, “I will try to put together something special for you. My love for Indonesia has only grown. #GagaSendsLoveToJakarta and all its people.”

On a lighter note, there is a rumor that Gaga will be releasing a new single from her future album in August… but for now it’s just a rumor.
