Justin Bieber is a suspect of criminal battery after getting into an altercation with a paparazzo!

Justin was in Calabasas Sunday afternoon at the The Commons mall with his girlfriend Selena Gomez when he was approved by the cameraman.

Apparently, the paparazzo attempted to take their pictures and then some kind of physical altercation occurred.

The victim called the police, but by the time they had gotten there, JB and Selena had fled the scene.

According to law enforcement, the cameraman cited upper torso pain and an ambulance was called on the scene.

After being examined, the photog filed a police report accusing Justin of assault. Police are investigating the occurrence as a misdemeanor battery.

Cops are planning on speaking with Justin, Selena and witnesses about the incident.

Justin has yet to comment about the situation, but he did jump on Twitter to say, “gonna focus on the important stuff. the music. #DieInYourArms hits ITUNES in less than #24HOURS – #BELIEVE.”
