Rapper 50 Cent has been admitted to a New York hospital for extreme illness.

The hip hop mogul was checked into the hospital two days ago and even had to cancel radio appearances to promote his new mixtape.

According to a source, the illness is being caused by blockage of the small intestine.

An attempt to remove the blockage by putting a tube down 50’s throat was not successful so emergency surgery has been scheduled for today.

Apparently, the surgery has major risks and doctors will have to remove a large portion of his intesines to operate.

50’s friend Floyd Mayweather posted the above picture on Instagram and told Atlanta’s V103 radio show, “Please keep 50 Cent in your prayers he is in the hospital and he is extremely sick…we will remain positive.”

Posting the below photo 50 said, “Ain’t this a b*tch. I give 15 tracks you give me this.”

Somehow, 50 mustered the strength to post several photos on his Twitter.
