Despite an impending start date and her public vying for the role, Lindsay Lohan has yet to sign the contract to play Elizabeth Taylor in a new Lifetime film.

Filming for “Liz and Dick” is set to begin in early May and Lindsay needs to sign by this week or the role might just slip out of her hands!

A source is revealing that “Lindsay is planning on signing the contract this week if all proceeds as scheduled. Lindsay is excited at the prospect of being back on set again. The major parts of the contract are in place and all that is needed now is signatures of Lindsay and the producers of the project.”

However, Lindsay has had a past with letting her personal (party) life get in the way of her professional life.

Recently it was discovered that Lindsay was in fact at the club where Marisa Dugas claims the actress assaulted her, even though Lindsay said she was at home.

It was also reported that Lindsay returned to the club last week and that she got into a verbal altercation which resulted in her getting a drink thrown in her face.

Lindsay needs to keep it together otherwise she might just lose this role, a role she needs in order to get back into acting.
