A sequel to the 90s classic, “Dumb and Dumber,” has just been confirmed!

Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels will both be returning along with the original director, Peter Farrelly.

I know what you’re thinking, what about 2003’s “Dumb and Dumberer?”

Well apparently, Peter Farrelly had no part in that and said, “We did not do ‘Dumb And Dumberer.’ That was a studio thing.”

Instead, Farrelly says, “We’ve always wanted to do a sequel and Jim called up. Jeff always wanted to do it. We always wanted to do it. Jim was busy, but he called and said, ‘We’ve got to do this thing again’.”

Production is set to begin in September.

“He had just watched Dumb And Dumber and he said, ‘This is the perfect sequel. Let’s do it,’” Farrelly adds.

Will the film live up to the original? Is there still an audience for two social inept and intellectually challenged men who go on adventures?

Well “Jersey Shore” is still on the air, so yes this film might actually do well.
