Britney Spears will likely be the new judge on “The X Factor!”

According to a very close source, Spears’ fiancé and agent, Jason Trawick, is negotiating a contract with “X Factor” producers.

The contract could be signed as soon as next week!

Reports say that the pop star was intrigued by the idea of joining the judging table, but apparently it was Simon Cowell who made the first move.

Apparently, Spears is receiving extensive media training for the show, this may not be so great if the show is looking for the crazy only an unscripted Britney could bring (or a drugged up Paula Abdul).

An official announcement has yet to be announced, but if she really does join I might actually watch this season.

I must say Spears would be a perfect fit for the show. She’s experienced in music, she’ll bring the crazy and she Britney freaking Spears!
