It’s week three at “The Voice” and the blind auditions are still on a roll.
In this third round of auditions the judges got down to business. Judge Adam Levine came out of it with four talents joining his team, unlike Christina Aguilera who only grabbed two new members.
The other two judges, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton snagged three each.
There were a lot of contestants last night so let’s get started.
First, let’s start off with Pip. A 19-year-old who arrived in a bow tie and suspenders… okay. He performed “House of the Rising Sun” by The Animals. His performance turned every chair, a first and only for the night. Pip then went on to join Team Levine.
Next was Katrina Parker, who sang “What If God Was One Of Us” by Joan Osbourne. She had a good voice, but Adam was the first and only judge to turn his chair.
Then there was James Massone, a 23-year-old from Boston who had the accent to prove it. Massone sang “Find Your Love” by Drake. Christina and Blake hit their buttons first, but the contestant decided to join team Cee Lo Green instead.
Next was Chris Cauley who performed a slowed down version of “Grenade” by Bruno Mars. After performing for a bit, Cee Lo and Adam turned there chairs. Faced with a tough decision, Chris decided to join Team Levine.
Next was Sarah Golden, who really proved the point of “The Voice.” Golden is a very androgynous contestant who sang “You and I” by Lady Gaga. Both Cee Lo and Blake turned their chairs, but Sarah went with Team Cee Lo.
Then there was Erin Willett, a 22-year-old who sang “I Want You Back” by Jackson 5. Blake was the only one to turn his seat for this performance.
Then came Geoff McBride, a father of three sang “High Ground” by Stevie Wonder. He joined Team Christina.
Next was Erin Martin, a former model who sang “Hey There Delilah” by the Plain White T’s. She joine Cee Lo’s team.
Then Nathan Parrett came up, the 24-year-old sang “The Joker” by Steve Mill Band. He joined team Adam.
Brian Fuente was next and he sang “Paris (Oh La La)” by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. He joined Blake’s team.
Next was Moses Stone, “The Voice’s” first MC, sang “Let’s Get It Start” by Black Eyed Peas. Christina loved him and that’s the team he joined.
Last for the night was Jordis Unge who sang “Maybe I’m Amazed” by Paul McCartney. Adam Levine declared that he loved the song. Surprisingly, Adam was the only judge not to turn his chair. In the end Jordis join team Blake.
