Taylor Swift’s ‘Safe and Sound’ Video Premier & Live Fan Chat (LIVE!)
Taylor Swift not only won two Grammy awards last night, but she also performed her single ‘Mean’ flawlessly.
“Oh wow! Hi, this is fantastic! You know, it’s always going to mean the world to me — the idea of getting to go to the Grammys and the idea of getting to possibly have a chance at winning a Grammy. But this one really means a lot to me because this is for a song called ‘Mean’ that I wrote. There’s really no feeling quite like writing a song about someone who’s really mean to you, and someone who completely hates you and makes your life miserable — and then winning a Grammy for it.”
Taylor’s video for “Safe & Sound” (feat. The Civil Wars), from The Hunger Games soundtrack, premieres tonight, February 13th at 4:54 p.m. PT, followed by an exclusive chat with Taylor.
It all happens right here, LIVE!
Fans of the superstar can get in on the action by submitting questions via Twitter @MTVNews with the hashtags #AskTaylor or #MTVFirst.
The “Hunger Games” soundtrack, which also features Arcade Fire and the Decemberists, drops March 20th. The movie hits theaters on March 23rd.

I love this song of hers! It’s awesome it made #1 to iTunes, but how did Taylor Swift’s Safe and Sound only end up in #5 in Country Charts? Anyway, I hope this upcoming artist – Bethany LaPrade (facebook.com/BethanyLaPrade), with that amazing talent of hers will have as much success as Taylor’s.
