Lindsay Lohan Booked ‘SNL’ Gig All By Herself!

Actress, singer, and convicted felon Lindsay Lohan is seriously trying to revive her flat-lined career, and in an attempt to put herself back into everyone’s good graces, Linds spoke with Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels and asked if he would allow her the chance to host SNL again.

The pair have a long-standing relationship which has been described as a ‘father/daughter’ type thing. After a series of phone calls back and forth, Michaels and Lohan agreed on March 3rd for her comeback appearance, with Jack White serving as musical guest.

This will mark Lindsay’s 4th time playing host on the long-running sketch comedy show. She previously took center stage at Studio 8H in 2004, 2005, and in 2006. This was her last appearance before all her legal and substance abuse troubles began to overshadow the talented young actress.

There is no doubt the bulk of the night’s jokes will be touching on all the ups and downs Lohan has dealt with since her last appearance on the show. This will unquestionably be an SNL episode for the record books.

I’m glad to see that Lindsay is taking the initiative with her career, and facilitating a comeback on her own. She’s spent WAY too long nursing the mistakes she’s made, and hopefully with a better crew of people surrounding her, this will be the beginning of a new chapter in her life and in her career.

Good luck Linds, I’m rooting for ya!!
