Britney Spears Will Be The New X-Factor Judge?

Simon Cowell is showing no mercy in the ratings war with The Voice and American Idol.

There are two vacant spaces to fill alongside Simon and LA Reid after Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger were fired and rumor has it — Britney Spears might fill X-Factor one of the judge’s empty teats. Brilliant?

According to “US Weekly,” the pop star has expressed a strong interest in joining the show.

Almost 10,000 fans have voted for Britney to appear as a judge on fansite breatheheavy.com.
