‘Beetlejuice’ Sequel Could Be In The Works

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejui…

It looks like the Tim Burton classic “Beetlejuice” may be getting a sequel in the near future!

For those of you who don’t know, “Beetlejuice” is a film starring Winona Ryder, Alec Baldwin, Michael Keaton and Geena Davis about a dead couple that seeks the help of a poltergeist to scare a family out of their home. It’s a must see.

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter” screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith is revealing that he and David Katzenberg are working on a script for the film. .

“We talked for a couple of hours and talked about big picture stuff. It’s a priority for Warner Bros. It’s a priority for Tim,” revealed Grahame-Smith referring to Tim Burton.

So Tim Burton’s in, but what about the film’s star, Michael Keaton?

Apparently, Keaton’s excitement level is “huge.”

“He’s been wanting to do it for 20 years and he’ll talk to anybody about it who will listen,” he revealed. “I don’t think we should do it if we shit on the legacy. He agrees. So, right now, it remains to be seen, I have a couple of story ideas, but we’re very early out.”

How many times do you think Michael Keaton said “Beetlejuice” for this to happen?

So are you excited for the sequel? I have mixed emotions.
