It’s official Paula Abdul has been canned from ‘The X Factor!’

Paula has become another victim of ‘X Factor’ producers who are cleaning house and trying to tweek the struggling show.

Abdul joins former fellow judge Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones in the unemployed line.

Am I surprised Simon Cowell axed his own friend?

Not really, he wants nothing but for this show to succeed. He’s going to do what he needs to do to get this show better ratings.

The now former judge has taken to her twitter to tell the world what we already knew.

She continued tweeting, “I’ve learned through my longevity in this industry that business decisions often times override personal considerations…”

“Simon & I, along with Fox & Fremantle, have been communicating about this for a while now, & I have absolute understanding of the situation.”

“Simon is, and will remain a dear friend of mine…”

“…and I’ve treasured my experience working this past season with my extended family at Fox and Fremantle.”

Paula then concluded with, “I want nothing more than for The X Factor to exceed ALL of their wildest dreams. This truly has been a blessing and I am most grateful.”

I wonder who will be filling in all of these empty spots on the show?

It has been reported that Mariah Carey may be filling in Scherzinger’s seat, but who will take over Paula and Steve’s spot?
